Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Rumbatours Miami (“Rumbatours,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website www.rumbatoursmiami.com and provides open-air party bus transportation services in Miami, Florida. Our contact information is:

  • Email: reservations@rumbatoursmiami.com
  • Phone: (786) 347-8829
  • Location: Miami, FL

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you:

  • Make or inquire about a booking (name, phone number, email address, event date, group size, pickup/drop-off location)
  • Contact us via our contact form or email
  • Complete payment through our Stripe checkout (payment card details are processed directly by Stripe — we do not store card numbers)

We also collect information automatically when you visit our website:

  • Pages visited, buttons clicked, and time spent on the site (via Google Analytics and Meta Pixel)
  • Device type, browser, and operating system
  • IP address and approximate location (city/region level)
  • Referring URL and UTM campaign parameters (to understand which ads or links brought you to the site)
  • Heatmap and session recording data (via Hotjar and Microsoft Clarity)

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To fulfill your booking: We use your name, phone, email, and event details to confirm your reservation, send a confirmation email, and contact you before your ride.
  • To process payment: Booking payments are processed by Stripe. We store a reference to the Stripe session ID and the amount paid.
  • To follow up on incomplete bookings: If you start a booking but do not complete payment, we may reach out to you by phone, text, or email to assist you in completing your reservation.
  • To improve our website: We use analytics data to understand how visitors use our site and to improve the booking experience.
  • For advertising: We use Meta Pixel and Google Analytics conversion data to measure the effectiveness of our ads and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our site.
  • For audience matching (personalized advertising): We may share your contact information — such as your email address and phone number — with advertising platforms including Google and Meta so they can match it to their own users. This lets us show ads to you and to people with similar interests, exclude existing customers from ads meant for new customers, and measure our results more accurately. The information is transmitted in a hashed (scrambled) form, is used only to match against existing accounts, and is never sold. You can opt out at any time — see Section 7: Your Rights.

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third-party services to operate our business:

Stripe

Payment processing. Your card details are entered directly on Stripe's secure servers and are never transmitted to or stored by Rumbatours. Stripe Privacy Policy

Google Analytics (GA4)

Website analytics and conversion tracking. Data is anonymized and aggregated. Google Privacy Policy

Google Ads

Advertising, conversion tracking, and retargeting across Google Search, YouTube, Gmail, and partner sites. We also upload hashed customer contact information (email addresses and phone numbers) to Google's Customer Match feature so we can show ads to our customers, exclude them from ads intended for new customers, and reach people with similar interests. Google matches this data against signed-in accounts and, under its terms, may not use it for any purpose other than the services it provides to us. Google Privacy Policy

Meta (Facebook) Pixel

Advertising measurement and retargeting on Facebook and Instagram. We track events such as page views, button clicks, and completed bookings to measure ad performance. Meta Privacy Policy

Hotjar

Heatmaps and session recordings to understand how visitors interact with our website. Hotjar masks personally identifiable information. Hotjar Privacy Policy

Microsoft Clarity

Heatmaps and session recordings used to understand where visitors get stuck in our booking flow. Text entered into form fields is masked before it leaves your browser, so we cannot see what you type. Microsoft Privacy Statement

Supabase

Secure cloud database where booking records and lead information are stored. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

5. Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies. These include:

  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — track page visits and user behavior in aggregate
  • Advertising cookies (Meta Pixel) — measure ad performance and enable retargeting
  • Functional cookies — remember your booking progress (stored in sessionStorage, cleared when you close the browser tab)

You can opt out of advertising cookies by visiting youradchoices.com or adjusting your browser privacy settings.

6. Data Retention

We retain booking records for a minimum of 3 years for business and tax purposes. Information from incomplete bookings and inquiries is retained for as long as we may reasonably need it to follow up with you, to recognize returning customers, and to keep accurate records of our marketing and sales activity. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at reservations@rumbatoursmiami.com.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Opt-out of marketing: Reply STOP to any SMS, unsubscribe from any email, or contact us directly
  • Opt-out of personalized advertising: Email us and we will remove your contact information from the audience lists we share with advertising platforms, and will not include it in future uploads
  • California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money. However, sharing contact information with advertising platforms for audience matching, as described in Sections 3 and 4, may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. To opt out, email us at the address below with the subject line “Do Not Share My Personal Information.”

To exercise any of these rights, email us at reservations@rumbatoursmiami.com.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy
